must blog before I forget this conversation!

I just put the boys to bed, and in my prayer I mentioned the baby in my belly. After I finished praying and was heading out of the room to fetch them some water,
Jed said to me, "Momma, I have a sisster."

Me: "Well, actually we don't know if this baby is a brother or a sister yet. You might be getting another little brother like Micah and baby Seth!"

Jed: "Well, no. Because kids and animals and cousins have sissters, and... I need to get one of those. yeah."

Me: "Well I'm working on that, Jed. I want you to have a sister too, but we're not in control of that, God decides whether this baby is a boy or a girl."

Jed: "Ya, but I need a sisster."

Okay, well shoot. He needs a sister. This conversation is coming just after Larson and I discussed how certain we are it's another little dude...
I guess we'll (hopefully) find out in another 2-3 weeks! :)

Jedidiah in all his 3 year old glory!

So here are the Jed pictures to date. Woo-hoo! Jedidiah is a very helpful big brother and likes to keep tabs on everyone in the house (where they are, what they're doing, etc.) He likes to sing along to songs, both church and pop, and he is a movie and popcorn junkie. Where did he get that from?! When he draws/paints he always draws a dinosaur or a castle, or a dinosaur-castle. Oh, and he drew a whale on the wall next to his bed. :) (no worries though, we're painting right on over it!) Enjoy the new picts!
